Chery recently unveiled two new models of its iCar 03 off-road SUV equipped with DJI’s intelligent driving system in China. Priced at 149,800 yuan and 159,800 yuan, these new models offer advanced driving assistance features aimed at the younger demographic, specifically those aged 25-35 and embarking on new careers.

The iCar 03 series expansion now includes eight models, featuring a distinctive square box design with vertical headlights, roof luggage racks, and 19-inch rims. The new iCar 03 boasts an all-aluminum body with superior torsional stiffness. With a wheelbase of 2715 mm and ground clearance of 200 mm, this SUV is well-suited for off-road adventures. Consumers can choose from six exterior colors, and the highlight of the new models is DJI’s cutting-edge level 2 advanced driving assistance system.

DJI’s system, relying on seven cameras rather than lidar and high-precision maps, provides level 2 assisted driving functionalities, urban and high-speed driving support, autonomous parking, and memory parking assist. The features include adaptive cruise control, collision warnings, blind-spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, automatic emergency braking, and more, enhancing both safety and driving convenience. The interior showcases a T-shaped layout, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip for the central control screen, and advanced features like voice recognition and remote control via mobile phones.
