Los Angeles-based electric bike brand, Hi-Power Cycles, has launched a new “defense division” named HPC Defense and introduced the Revolution W, an 80 mph military electric bike. While regular electric bicycles in the US are capped at 28 mph, this military-grade e-bike surpasses that speed limit multiple times with its 10,500-watt motor. The bike is made in the US and boasts the title of being the fastest factory military-grade e-bike globally.
Why does it matter?
The Revolution W’s exceptional power allows it to reach speeds of up to 80 mph, thanks to a 10,500-watt motor. Surprisingly, the bike can also be pedaled at speeds exceeding 50 mph, equipped with a German-made Schlumpf High-Speed Drive. Furthermore, with a pedal-assist range of up to 100 miles, the Revolution W is designed for long-distance travel and features extensive suspension for a smooth off-roading experience.
