Baojun Yunhai 5-Seater SUV: A Sneak Peek Inside!


Baojun has revealed images of its upcoming Yunhai 5-seater SUV, set to launch in the third quarter of 2024. The SUV will be available in both EV and PHEV powertrain options. The brand’s 2024 product plan includes the launch of two additional SUVs later in the year, codenamed F410S and F710S. The Yunhai is positioned to be a global vehicle, hinting at its potential export to overseas markets. The compact SUV will be built on Baojun’s Tianyu D platform architecture.

Why does it matter?

The Baojun Yunhai differs in design between the EV and PHEV versions. The EV version features a distinct closed area with a decorative black trim panel, while the PHEV version sports triangular headlights and black embellishments for a visually appealing air vent effect. Both models share a similar rear design. The EV variant will come equipped with a 150 kW electric motor and lithium iron phosphate battery pack, while the PHEV will be powered by a 1.5-liter engine alongside an electric motor and battery pack. The SUV will offer a top speed of 170 km/h and will feature various rim styles and tire specifications.
