Exclusive: Nio’s Onvo L60 Interior Spy Shots Revealed!

The highly anticipated Onvo L60 by Nio is set to launch on September 10, with pre-sales already underway at a price of 219,900 yuan (approximately 30,250 USD). An interior spy shot leak reveals a sleek and minimalistic design similar to Tesla Model Y, aimed at competing with the popular electric vehicle.

Why does it matter?

The Onvo L60 boasts a significant resemblance to Tesla, featuring a single 17.2-inch 3K retina screen for displaying information. What sets it apart is the addition of a 13-inch HUD specifically for driving data, offering a more diversified information display compared to Tesla’s all-in-one screen setup. Despite the lack of high-quality images, details such as the two-scroll wheel steering wheel design, wireless charging pads, streamlined dashboard, and innovative storage solutions make this vehicle a promising competitor in the EV market.

The front seats, developed in-house by Nio, offer flat reclining capabilities and connectivity to the rear row, ensuring a comfortable and customizable seating experience. While specifics about the rear bench remain scarce, reports suggest features like an 8-inch entertainment screen and electrically adjustable seats, promising a luxurious and tech-savvy interior.

How is it going to shape the future?

With key details released through the MIIT listing, the Onvo L60’s dimensions, motor options, and battery packs have been disclosed, indicating a strong focus on performance and efficiency. Sporting powerful 240 kW and 100 kW motors for the RWD and AWD versions respectively, the Onvo L60 promises a top speed of 203 km/h. The utilization of lithium iron phosphate batteries sourced from BYD subsidiary FinDreams ensures impressive range estimates of 550 km to 730 km depending on the battery pack size.

As Nio aims to position the Onvo L60 as a more budget-friendly option compared to its predecessors, the blend of innovative features, performance capabilities, and long-range potential sets a new standard in the electric vehicle market, catering to a wider range of consumers looking for luxury, technology, and sustainability in one package.
